Richmond and Wandsworth Councils have announced that they will extend the hire of a mobile clinic from Roadshow Promotions for another year, until December 2023. The mobile clinic is a customised bus that offers a range of health services and information to the residents of the two boroughs, especially those who face barriers to accessing health care.
The mobile clinic was initially hired for six months, from May to October 2022, as part of the councils’ local health and care plan. The plan aims to improve the health and wellbeing of the residents by focusing on three key priorities: healthy places, targeted interventions, and mental health.

The mobile clinic has been travelling to different locations across Richmond and Wandsworth, such as parks, shopping centres, schools, community centres, and places of worship.
