Hits Radio Bespoke Bus Hire
The Brief
In 2014 we were approached by Manchester’s Radio Key103, after their previous supplier let them down, to provide a single decker media bus suitable to use for the wide variety of events they undertook with their clients.
The bus was to be initially hired under contract for 1 year at which time the contract would be reviewed
The Response
Fortunately we had just bought a vehicle previously converted by our sister company which turned out to be almost ideally suited.
After negotiating rates and agreeing terms, we undertook the task of modifying the interior of the single decker bus to suit Key103’s requirements
The Result
By the time the bus had completed 9 months of its initial 12 month contract both the management of Roadshow Promotions and Key 103 felt the relationship and hire should continue for the foreseeable future
In early 2015 the bus was rebranded in line with Bauer corporate guidelines and the bus continued to undertake a wide variety of projects under the Key 103 banner. Rebranded again in 2017 it still retained the Key 103 name and logo, but in 2018 the bus and station changed to the current station name of Hits Radio
Between 2014 and 2020 Hits Radio and Roadshow Promotions enjoyed a thriving relationship and partnered on a number of high profile educational tours, however with the coming of the COVID pandemic the relationship ground to a halt.
With changes to their operational methods and the wear on the buses systems the relationship came to an end in 2021.
