European Training Bus Project

Edwards Lifesciences, leaders in the science of heart valves and hemodynamic monitoring required a mobile unit for travelling around the UK and Europe and asked if a bus could be converted in to a training environment for one of their leading edge products.

After numerous conversations, visits and designs it was decided that a new bespoke training environment should be built in to an empty, single decker service bus shell, having reviewed the list of vehicles awaiting conversion we chose RSP12 an ex BBC outside broadcast bus for the conversion.

One of the main reasons, other than it was the right size, was that it was a popular European brand of vehicle, meaning any mechanical issues could be easily resolved throughout Europe.

Having chosen the vehicle we went to work with the conversion and branding and the vehicle began touring Europe in January 2020 and is expected to continue until December 2021
