Edinburgh Zoo Outreach Bus Conversion Completed
The Brief
Contacted by Edinburgh Zoo who had being given a double decker bus by Stagecoach, we were asked if we could refurbish the interior, or in other words convert the interior for outreach use
The Response
We viewed the double decker and after entering discussions with the zoo on what its use was to be, which was an outreach bus, travelling around Scotland visiting schools and promoting wildlife conservation. After providing a ballpark figure for the conversion we got the go-ahead to undertake the bus conversion
The Result
After 3 months the vehicle interior was finished to both Edinburgh Zoo and our satisfaction, the exterior and interior was vinyl branded and the bus departed Blackpool for Scotland.
Over the course of its life as their Wild About Scotland Outreach Bus, the vehicle is expected to undertake over 500 school visits throughout Scotland and entertain and educate thousands of Scottish children on wildlife conservation.
