The Digital Screen bus, RSP23, one of our recent acquisitions has now entered the workshop for a full bus refurbishment to the interior
RSP23 has now entered the workshop where this very special bus will undergo a major refresh of its interior.
The bus is the first of the Digital Screen Class of buses, the second having being programmed in for late 2023 and being ready for January/February 2024.
Although the interior was more than suitable for new tours, especially those with a hospitality emphasis, the recent success of our new corporate class of buses highlighted that this bus or class of buses would benefit greatly by having a similar, modular based interior.
Most of the alterations will take place on the upper saloon, with our modular and internal branding systems being installed on the upper deck of the digibus, along with an extensive HDMI, sound and video/camera network system.
The all new interior will allow seat, worktop, table modules designed for the Corporate Class bus to be also utilised in this promotional hospitality bus at the same time there will be ample space for internal screens and branding
In addition we will be installing new lighting, flooring and electrical system.
The lower saloon area layout will remain similar to its current design, with a catering/bar area with external serving hatch, however the lower saloon will be refit with new facia’s worktops, lighting and flooring, alogn with minor adjustments to storage areas and expansion over the forward wheel-arch area.
Last but not least the rear section that contains the generator and controls for the 8sqm digital screen will have a major overall and become the nerve centre for controlling both internal and external audio visual displays, internal video cameras and provide storage.
The bus is expected to leave the workshop mid February 2023 ready for its first booking in March.
