We designed this innovative single-decker mobile health bus to help provide specialist stop-smoking support across the Wakefield district, making it more convenient for residents to access smoking cessation support.
The Smokefree Bus made stops at key community locations, launching outside Wakefield Cathedral then visiting Wakefield One, Junction 32, Pontefract Market, Pinderfields and Asda Glasshoughton. By bringing essential services directly to the community, the mobile clinic conversion has made a positive impact on individuals looking to quit smoking.

Onboard, there was a consultation room where visitors could talk to trained specialists who provided free stop-smoking support, expert advice, guidance on prescription products, and ongoing encouragement to aid their quit journey.
